BL Companies is seeking a Senior/Principal Land Surveyor licensed in Massachusetts who brings technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work effectively in both the field and the office.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying and a proven track record of delivering survey projects with precision and efficiency. This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the success of high-impact projects while working collaboratively with BL’s Survey Management team.
Depending on your level of experience and interests, you may oversee both field and office operations while managing a wide variety of survey projects.
Key Responsibilities- Scope, estimate, and plan survey projects
- Oversee execution of Boundary Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and Construction Stakeout
- Ensure quality control across all project phases
- Help to coordinate staffing and resource planning
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service
- Travel to job sites as required
- Collaborate with Survey Management leadership and contribute to department operations
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in land surveying
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
- Proficiency in CAD, GPS, and robotic instruments
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities

CompensationSalary range: $90,000 to $130,000, based on experience, skills, and fit for the role.
