Arcadis is seeking a Process Engineer to support a critical DeltaV Conversion Project at our client’s manufacturing facility. This individual will provide hands‑on process engineering support for GMP manufacturing equipment and systems impacted by the DeltaV upgrade. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting biopharmaceutical process equipment, troubleshooting operational issues, coordinating equipment readiness activities, and working cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, CQV, and metrology teams.

This is an immediate need due to an accelerated project timeline. Candidates with a strong process engineering background are preferred, though individuals with relevant CQV experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day process engineering support during the DeltaV conversion project.
  • Troubleshoot process equipment issues and support resolution of operational challenges.
  • Support chromatography and tangential flow filtration (TFF) systems utilized in GMP manufacturing.
  • Coordinate equipment readiness activities, including calibration and maintenance follow up with Metrology and supporting groups.
  • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Automation, CQV, Validation, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist with equipment assessments, change implementation, and process improvements related to the DeltaV migration.
  • Support project tracking, documentation, action item management, and timeline adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality requirements throughout project execution.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 1-5+ years of engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting process equipment within GMP manufacturing operations.
  • Working knowledge of process engineering principles and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week in Norwood, MA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with chromatography systems.
  • Experience with tangential flow filtration (TFF) systems.
  • Prior experience supporting DeltaV‑controlled manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with in biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • CQV, Validation, or Commissioning experience in regulated environments
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required.
