Role

Engineer I supporting Formulations (Lipid Nanoparticle and Drug Product) pilot-scale production within Moderna's Pilot Scale Operations team. Primary objective s include facilitating technology transfer from Process Development, assisting in process development and scale-up strategies, and operating and troubleshooting custom manufacturing equipment.

• production support, equipment maintenance, SOP authoring, process characterization, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

• BS/BA or MS in Chemistry, Biomedical, Systems, or Chemical Engineering, with 0-2 years of related experience.
• hands-on experience in bioprocess development, solution prep, lipid nanoparticles, sterile fill/finish, or tangential flow filtration preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.
