Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AR Associate in Norwood, MA. Duties:
- AR Associate will serve as the primary point of contact for past‑due account resolution
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on overdue balances
- Communicate with customers to obtain payment commitments and, when needed, arrange payment plans
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and disputed transactions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of collection activity in internal financial systems
- As an AR Associate, you will reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of outstanding variances
- Apply credit and collections policies consistently and elevate accounts as appropriate
- Generate and maintain regular aging and collection status reports for internal stakeholders
- Support month‑end and periodic close activities related to accounts receivable
- Several years of experience in an accounts receivable or related financial role
- Familiarity with financial, accounting, or ERP systems
- Strong self‑management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with standard business software, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
