Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician – 2nd Shift

Excellent opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as a Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) Clinician. The Master’s level Clinician is an integral part of the Community Behavioral Health Center’s (CBHC) Mobile Crisis Intervention program. MCI provides crisis intervention services 7 days per week, 24 hours per day either on‑site or mobile to any individual experiencing a mental health and/or substance use challenge.

The mission of the MCI is to respond rapidly, assess effectively, and deliver a course of treatment intended to promote recovery, ensure safety, and stabilize the crisis so the person served can receive medically necessary services in the community or, if needed, in an inpatient or 24‑hour diversionary level of care.

• Assess, intervene, stabilize, and refer patients in crisis, including telephone triage and on‑site treatments.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, certified peer specialists, and recovery coaches.
• Serve as liaison between the MCI team and community providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in orientation, ongoing site training, and clinical supervision to accrue licensure track hours.

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related human service field.
• Two years of experience in the mental health field, including internships.
• Preferred:
  One year of experience providing mobile crisis services to children/youth under 21 and familiarity with substance use and co‑occurring disorders.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Full Time, 40 hours per week. Tuesday – Saturday: 3pm – 11pm or 4pm – 12am.

• Unlicensed Clinician – $35.69 per hour.
• Independent Licensure – $38.25 per hour.
• Stacking differentials available: $1 per hour for 2nd shift evenings, $2 per hour for 3rd shift overnights, and $1 per hour for weekend shifts.
