Position: Help Desk/ System Admin - Onsite in Norwood, MA

Overview

Our client needs a Help Desk/System Admin for a 3-month contract with possibility of extension. They are looking for people with a strong foundation in Help Desk that are looking to grow their career. Bi-lingual candidates are a big plus.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, install, and physically troubleshoot client devices, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, printers, smartphones and mobile handheld computers / ancillary equipment
  • Interact with user community for hardware life cycles, technical troubleshooting, and user requests
  • Provide high level of service and support to employees as you receive, assess, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in-person and remotely by telephone, cell phone, and various support technologies
  • Log/manage incidents and requests using the Help Desk ticketing system
  • Update and create support knowledge
  • Physically troubleshoot hardware and create vendor service requests when applicable
  • Provision new hardware (image) as required
  • Troubleshooting, support, and preventative maintenance for production technology (e.g. label printers, handhelds, touchscreens, tablets)
  • Complete workstation setups/moves
  • May include limited travel to local, off-site offices
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the MS Windows Operating System (7, 10), MS Office, and TCP/IP networking
  • Must be a team player and demonstrate a willingness to help co-workers
  • Must demonstrate the capability of multi-tasking, analyzing, and problem solving in stressful situations
  • Must possess proven customer service skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must demonstrate willingness to work flexible hours
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) preferred
