The Role
The Candidae will report to and work closely with the Director, Digital LIMS Systems to ensure the implementation of new solutions and improvement of existing systems (Lab Vantage) for the Moderna Digital Laboratory Systems organization. This role will help shape and deliver the long-term strategic vision for the Quality Control Digital roadmap. This opportunity is unique in the pace and speed we expect and achieve.
Here’sWhat You’ll Do
- Act as the senior system expert for the LIMS solution (Lab Vantage)
- Propose, lead and deploy small and medium-size continuous improvement projects within the Lab Systems
- Participate and provide support for large cross functional projects
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and internal digital teams to design, develop and implement solutions with integration to MES, SAP, LIMS, and potentially eQMS
- Application support for LIMS as a level 2/3 SME, including version control, upgrades, patching and deployments, and system maintenance
- Help shape the strategy for an integrated digital lab systems landscape
- Participate in the delivery of projects and initiatives in a timely and qualitative manner
- Highlight potential risks and act proactively to resolve issues
- Participate in the demand management process to assist the business in establishing business cases relating to new systems or potential system changes
- Having 8+ years of experience with Lab Vantage LIMS development is a must
- Worked as a functional LIMS expert, preferably in Lab Vantage, with expertise in a GxP environment focused on GMP
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent training and relative work experience required

The salary range for this role is $ - $ (for positions that may be performed in California, the expected salary range is $ - $, which reflects the range permitted under California Labor Code requirements). The salary within this range is based on several factors including relevant competencies, education, qualifications, experience, performance, and business needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award subject to company plan eligibility criteria and individual performance.
