Description

The Assembler is responsible for performing electronic and mechanical assembly operations in a high-reliability electronics manufacturing environment. This role supports the production of mission‑critical products by following detailed work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Assembler works as part of a team to meet production schedules while maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electronic and mechanical assembly tasks such as PCBA support, cable and wire harness assembly, box build, and sub‑assemblies.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and quality requirements.
  • Adhere to IPC standards, J-STD-001 requirements, ESD controls, and customer specifications as trained.
  • Inspect own work to ensure accuracy, workmanship, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or process issues to Production Leads or Supervisors.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and ESD‑safe workstations.
  • Accurately complete production documentation and tracking as required.
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Support cross‑training efforts and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training in electronics assembly preferred but not required.
  • Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred; entry level candidates may be considered.
  • Basic understanding of electronic components, tools, and assembly processes a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions and procedures.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools and assembly equipment.
  • Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback.

    Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during assembly operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
