Job Summary

The Quality Control Inspector, under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, performs all Quality tasks necessary to ensure product quality in the areas of in-process inspection, incoming inspection and final inspection. This includes the management of non-conforming material.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the documentation, filing and tracking of incoming inspection reports, as well as non-conforming material reports for incoming, in‑process and final inspections.
  • Act as a technical liaison between Quality Engineering and Operations/Engineering for non-conforming material reports/complaints to ensure issues are resolved and prevented.
  • Support activities with Operations, Purchasing and Quality regarding non-conforming material returns and closure of reports.
  • Perform final inspection and operational testing of units and review Device History Records prior to shipment.
  • Support calibration activities including record maintenance and scheduling of calibration.
  • Support MRB meetings for NCMR reviews, as required.
  • Aid in the maintenance of all inspection and production records in line with procedures.
  • Promote a culture of Quality focused compliance with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Experience Requirements
  • H/S diploma, or equivalent.
  • 2‑4 years related experience.
  • Ability to read/write in English.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and willingness to learn new software.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds as required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and written communication.
  • Ability to occasionally move about the office to access meetings or resources.

Work Location

On‑site in our Norwood facility 5 days/week (M‑F), first shift.

Targeted Salary Range

$25.00 – $26.00 per hour.

Working Hours

6:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
