Catering Attendant

We are hiring immediately for full‑time Catering Attendant positions at Moderna, 1 Upland Road, Norwood, Massachusetts 02062. Online applications are accepted only. The position is full time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during his/her shift and may drive a catering delivery truck.

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations.
• Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly clean the location after each event.
• Return food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.
