Overview

Gemma Kitchen & Bar – Line Cook. Gemma is looking for skilled, motivated Line Cooks to join our opening kitchen team. We are a neighborhood-driven, Italian-influenced American restaurant focused on quality, consistency, and hospitality. Responsibilities
  • Execute menu items with consistency, accuracy, and pride
  • Work assigned stations (grill, sauté, fry, pizza, prep) during service
  • Prepare ingredients and components according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
  • Communicate clearly with chefs and teammates during service
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with prep, stocking, and closing duties as needed
Hours
  • Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
  • Day, night, and weekend availability required
  • Schedule flexibility is a must (brunch, dinner, events, catering)
Qualifications
  • Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques
  • Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Serve Safe Certification a plus
Preferred Skills
  • Scratch cooking experience
  • Experience with Italian or American cuisine
  • High-volume service background
  • Catering or event execution experience
