In our Norwood, MA facility, we build both catalog and custom-engineered testing machines and accessories.
At ADMET, our commitment to our customers lasts long after their machines ship. To strengthen this commitment, we are looking for a motivated Customer Success Manager to join our team and help our customers succeed.
Your mission is to partner with our customers to understand their specific testing needs, helping them find the exact grips, fixtures, and test accessories required to do their jobs successfully. In this role, you will use a personal, consultative sales and support model based on technical expertise and open dialogue. You will help buyers move forward with confidence and position ADMET as a technically complete, high-support supplier in all customer interactions.
This early-career role offers a fast learning curve and a clear path to sales leadership in the testing industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Consultative Accessory Sales: Lead accessories sales within established sectors, utilizing ADMET diagnostic sales process to understand and fulfill customer needs.
- Existing Customer Outreach: Engage with recent customers, conduct surveys over the phone, and track and communicate feedback on ADMET’s products and services.
- Outbound Business Development: Conduct phone and email outreach to find and qualify new sales leads and schedule discovery calls with ADMET Account Directors.
- Content Creation: Work with Product Marketing Engineer to capture fresh content marketing ideas for the website, social media, and You Tube.
- Account Director Support: Provide ad-hoc support to Account Directors within your sector, including test application research, note-taking, and CRM maintenance.
- Brand Advocacy: Become a product expert and represent ADMET at industry trade shows (infrequent business travel required).
The role will report directly to ADMET’s VP, and work cross-functionally with others in marketing, sales, and engineering positions. Your success will be measured by your impact on our customers' long-term testing capabilities, quantified through proactive client engagement rates, accessory sales conversion, and outbound lead generation.
Job Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline with 0-3 years professional experience
- Demonstrated ability to draft excellent technical writing at fast pace/high volume
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace products
- A drive to prove ADMET’s value and grow our marketing and sales pipeline
- Ability to manage several priorities at once and see them to completion
- Aptitude for communicating complex technical concepts clearly and simply
- Extracurricular experience in a small, technically-focused teams (e.g., FSAE, Baja, Robotics Club, Rocketry Club)
- Demonstrated understanding of voice of the customer, their challenges and needs
Ability to view objections simply as technical puzzles to solve and not a closed door - Eagerness to learn ADMET’s testing machines and to learn customer’s test methods
- Mindfulness of ADMET’s customer experience, core values, and overall brand voice
- Base Pay Range: $60,000 with multi-part performance based bonus, including:
- Commission rate for accessories sales
- Bonus per new sales lead generated through outreach
- Target Total Compensation: $100,000 per year
