Security Supervisor, Warehousing – Boston, MA

We are immediately hiring a Security Supervisor of Warehousing in Boston, MA for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The role is essential to ensure the safety and protection of all Ryder personnel during normal and emergency operations.

Compensation
  • Pay Type:

    Exempt / Salary paid twice per month
  • Annual Salary: $72,500 per year (based on experience)
  • Schedule:

    Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; flexibility for additional shifts as needed

Responsibilities
  • Supervise security staff and develop security procedures
  • Ensure access control is maintained at all times
  • Maintain and service security equipment; manage purchase and billing of tools
  • Review daily logs and investigate reported thefts or violations
  • Respond to emergency medical situations
  • Program Honeywell Delta 1000 and Xerox 820-II systems
  • Train staff on systems and security procedures
  • Schedule staff for shift work and coordinate on‑call duties
  • Handle on‑call 24/7; may be called into headquarters for emergencies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Five (5) years or more experience in Security or Law Enforcement required
  • Three (3) years or more in supervisory or higher level required
  • Law Enforcement School Certification
