A Maintenance Mechanic II position at HMF is a critical role within the maintenance department, reporting directly to the Maintenance Shift Supervisor and Maintenance Manager. This role involves executing preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro‑mechanical systems, including electronic controls, conveyor systems, production machinery, and support equipment. The 2nd Shift runs 5:00 pm to 5:15 am on a 2‑2‑3 schedule.

New Hire Base Salary Range: $35–$42/hr (plus $1/hr shift differential.) Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, education, geographic considerations and internal equity.

Continuous Growth: Earn more with certifications in boiler, wastewater, and refrigeration. WE FOOT THE BILL FOR YOUR TRAINING!

• Sign‑on Bonus: $5,000.00 – $2,000 paid after 6 months, $3,000 at your 1‑year anniversary.
• Performance Bonuses: up to $4,800 per year – up to $400 per month based on company performance.

• 5+ years as a Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in food manufacturing or pharma.
• MA Fireman 2 License and/or Ammonia Operator 1 Certification preferred.
• Valid US Driver's License (mandatory).
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of cGMP/GMP standards and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Strong time‑management, organization, and multitasking; teamwork with technicians and trades.

• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical and electrical issues using manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Execute preventive maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and replace defective or worn components to keep production running.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain a safe, organized, efficient work environment.
• Coach Mechanic I associates to meet shift objectives.
• Undertake special projects as delegated.
