Medical Customer Service Representative
Location: Norwood, OH (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking a Medical Customer Service Representative to join a growing healthcare organization in the Norwood, OH area. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and experience supporting patients with billing-related inquiries.
This role focuses on delivering a positive patient experience by assisting with billing questions and processing payments in a fast-paced, call center environment.
Key Responsibilities- Handle a high volume of inbound calls from patients regarding billing inquiries
- Explain charges, balances, and insurance-related questions in a clear and professional manner
- Collect patient payments and set up payment arrangements as needed
- Document all interactions accurately in the system
- Research and resolve patient account discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- 1+ year of customer service experience (healthcare or call center preferred)
- Experience handling patient billing inquiries or payments is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a high-volume call environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems

Pay DetailsPay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
