Location: Mappleton Lodge – Nottingham
Reporting To: Home Manager
Compensation: £31,917 – £32,540 / year (based on 8 sleeps per month and an hourly rate of £12.60 – £12.90 / hour). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.
Pay Rate: £31,917 – £32,540 per annum (based on 8 sleeps per month and an hourly rate of £12.60 – £12.90 per hour). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.
Hours: 173 hours per month – the most common shift pattern is 2 days on, 3 days off, with sleep in’s (shifts may vary). Rotas provided in advance.
Work that Matters: We’re a 365‑day service because children need us every day.
What we’re looking for: A nurturing, patient, and resilient person who truly cares.
- Full UK driving licence.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be over 21.

Mappleton Lodge has three homes on one site and is a warm, welcoming space for five energetic children who love to stay active and creative. Here, you’ll help them enjoy activities such as:
- Walking in the peaks
- Playing football
- Fishing
- Going to skate parks, soft play and swimming
