We are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing Level 2 Qualified Childcare Practitioner to join a supportive and friendly nursery team in NG2. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a setting that values teamwork, professional development and creating a positive learning environment for every child.

In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in supporting children’s early learning and development, helping them to build confidence, curiosity and essential life skills in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Level 2 Childcare Practitioner, you will:

Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Help create a warm, safe and inclusive learning environment

Support children’s social, emotional and physical development

Assist with observations and contribute to children’s learning journeys

Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with parents and carers

Promote safeguarding, health and wellbeing at all times

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

A Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education

Experience working with children aged 0–5 in a nursery or early years setting

A warm, patient and caring nature

Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Paediatric First Aid (desirable but not essential)
