Nursery Deputy Manager

Salary – £32,900 depending on experience plus a £1,000 welcome bonus!

Responsibilities:

• Ensurethe safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at alltimes.
• Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFSare met throughout the nursery.
• Assistin managing the acceptance and administration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with health conditions.
• Ensure that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences,environments and resources that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Promote respect and credibility for this position through effective communication skills, impartiality, and consistency.
• Inspire staff team with creative ideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice.
• Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMansystem and on file.
• Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and safetyand wellbeing of children, staff, and families.

Requirements:

• Fulland relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
• Leadership experience - Essential
• Over1 years' experience of working in Early Years - Essential
• Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
• Over1 years' experience of working in a management position - Desirable.
• Level5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
• Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding –Desirable
