Position: Hospitality & Catering Mobile Food Service Assistant Nottinghamshire Up to £12.71 / hour

Are you passionate about catering, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Mobile Food Service Assistant to join our Catering Team.

About the Role

Based across Nottinghamshire, you will be working 10:15am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, 16.25 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in supporting catering teams across multiple locations, helping to deliver high quality food services and excellent customer care.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
  • Supporting kitchen teams across multiple locations
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
  • Washing up and cleaning catering equipment and work areas
  • Assisting with stock rotation and storage procedures
  • Following Health and Safety and food safety requirements at all times
  • Providing excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors
Who are we looking for?

  • Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential
