Are you passionate about food, customer service, and making a positive difference every day? Verts is looking for a dedicated Mobile Assistant Cook to join our Catering Team.

About the Role:

Working across Nottingham and surrounding areas, you will be supporting a variety of catering sites where additional cover is required. You will be working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 13:30, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality catering services, ensuring excellent food standards and customer service are maintained at all times.

Your

responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the preparation and cooking of meals
  • Serving food and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Assisting with stock control and kitchen organisation
  • Supporting catering teams across multiple locations as required
  • Assisting with washing up and general kitchen duties
Who are we looking for?
  • Previous catering experience is desirable
  • Experience working in a school or commercial kitchen environment is advantageous
