Asbestos Analyst or Dual Role

DescriptionRiverside Environmental Services Ltd is an independent environmental consultancy specialising in asbestos surveys, air monitoring and related environmental services. The company is part of the Celnor Group, a UK‑based environmental services group focused on testing, inspection, certification and compliance.
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as a primary Asbestos Analyst or in a dual role. The position is predominantly focused on asbestos analysis duties, particularly air monitoring and four‑stage clearance procedures.
What you will do Primary Responsibilities – Asbestos Analyst (Main Focus)- Carrying out air monitoring, reassurance testing, and four‑stage clearances
- Setting up and managing air testing equipment
- Undertaking visual inspections of asbestos removal works
- Producing accurate analytical reports and certification
- Ensuring work is completed in line with HSG
248 and company procedures - Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site teams
- Assisting with site inspections and basic asbestos related surveys (where trained)
- Supporting senior staff with data collection and site documentation
- Learning wider consultancy processes to support career development
- BHOS P403 and P404 certified or the RSPH equivalent qualifications. A P402 or equivalent is required for the dual role.
- Experience with TEAMS asbestos management system.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organised, with a keen eye for detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
