Position: Audio Visual (AV) Engineer

Working primarily within the commercial sector, we specialise in delivering high quality engineering solutions across the AV industry.

We’re looking for an AV Engineer to join our team; someone with hands on practical skills and a real commitment to learning. While AV experience is a bonus, we’re also open to candidates from other industries who bring the right technical mindset and enthusiasm to grow within the AV industry.

This is a site based role, working primarily in client locations rather than in an office environment. Standard working hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, offering a consistent weekday routine. As many of our projects take place across the UK and EU, the role will involve a significant amount of time working away from home. While some flexibility may be required to meet project demands, the position is designed around regular, predictable hours.

The role and responsibilities:

* Work closely with teams of AV engineers to facilitate smooth project delivery

* Install high quality, integrated AV systems across a range of commercial environments

* Get hands on with innovative and evolving technologies

* Learn and develop a career in the AV industry backed by a management team that cares about your success

* Work with Junior and Trainee engineers to help them develop into their careers

Qualifications and experience:

* At least 3 years of hands on experience installing equipment in an industry parallel to AV. i.e Network Infrastructure, Security Systems, Electrician, Fire Alarms

* Confident working independently or part of a team

* Strong hands on knowledge of tools and their uses

* Comfortable spending time away from home, working on projects across the UK or abroad (typically away Monday to Friday, home for the weekend)

* AVIXA CTS certification preferred, but not essential

* Site based qualifications such as IPAF, ECS PASMA or EFAW are a bonus

* Must hold a UK Drivers License

Salary and Benefits :

* Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 depending on experience

* Company van (once working independently) and industry standard tools provided
