The Role – Mobile Service Technician

Based in Sussex, you’ll be out in the field, providing expert technical support to customers. Your role is all about ensuring equipment operates at peak performance, whether through scheduled servicing, urgent repairs, or diagnostic work. You’ll manage your time effectively, focusing on first-time fixes and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing and repairs on a range of turfcare equipment, including leading brands
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults with precision
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, representing the company professionally on-site
  • Maintain detailed service records and job reports
  • Promote good customer relations through prompt responses and high-quality workmanship
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Escalate complex issues to the Service Manager as needed
  • Keep your service vehicle clean and well-maintained
  • Attend product and technical training to stay updated on the latest equipment

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic repair work
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, confident communicator with a customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for basic reporting and documentation
  • Full UK driving licence required
