Overview
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Apprentice Fitted Furniture Installer to join our skilled team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship to learn the trade from an experienced cabinet maker. You will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of furniture making, from design to finishing, while working on real client projects and installing and fitting the handmade furniture.
Responsibilities- Assisting in the workshop with the construction of bespoke furniture.
- Learning to use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Preparing timber and materials for assembly.
- Sanding, finishing, and applying paints, stains and oils.
- Helping with installations and on-site work.
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Hands-on training from an experienced cabinet maker and installer

Applicants must be able to travel to workplace. NG13 9DS
or surrounding area such as Radcliffe On Trent or Bingham.
During your Standard Level 2 Fitted Furniture Installer apprenticeship programme you will receive training both off and on the job. You will be trained at the employer within the workplace and also at WEBS Training in Beeston, Nottingham on a block release basis for a week at a time, 5 times a year.
You will learn the underpinning knowledge that runs alongside your practical elements of the training. WEBS Training aims to build on the skills you already have so you reach your full potential both personally and professionally.
Training will be provided in all areas of furniture installation to ensure you can create practical and bespoke furniture using both traditional and modern techniques and materials to produce aesthetically pleasing and fit for purpose products.
If you have already achieved GCSE maths and English at Grade 4/C or above or have equivalent qualification you will be exempt from undertaking Functional Skills, however English and maths support will be provided for all apprentices throughout the length of their programme.

- Basic experience with tools (Helpful but not essential - training will be provided.)
- GCSE or equivalent in English (Grade C/4) - desirable
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths (Grade C/4) - desirable
