Supervisor - Social Housing Maintenance / Foreperson – PERMANENT

RG Setsquare (Resourcing Group) is working with a large national maintenance contractor who specialise in carrying out planned maintenance, operating in a mixture of occupied and void homes, providing upgrades and refurbishment works in people’s homes. Their end clients mostly include housing associations and local authorities, with a good presence in the public sector.

They would like to appoint a Foreperson to join their direct delivery team to be site based and be the dir ector for their directly employed trade people as well as subbies on site. They self deliver most of their works, so most of the contact will be with staff employed by the same company.

The programme of works are bias toward kitchen and bathroom upgrades and mostly operating in occupied homes.

This opportunity will suit someone from a similar background, with knowledge and experience of working within the social housing maintenance industry. Supervising works on site, ensuring projects are carried out and completed to a decent standard, on time and with no issues at site level will form part of the responsibilities. Supporting trade where needed and managing materials, time sheets and general queries from teammates will form other responsibilities.

This is a permanent role, ideally being offered on a temp to perm basis, which means that the 1st 12 weeks would be pay rolled by ourselves prior to being taken on perm directly at the 13th week. The 12 weeks would form part of your probationary period.
