Window and Door Fitters

Full‑time permanent position covering South Devon and surrounding areas.

We are recruiting experienced window and door fitters to join a growing installation team working on high‑quality new‑build housing developments. This is a hands‑on role installing a wide range of windows and doors across multiple residential sites.

We welcome applications from individual fitters and established fitting pairs who already work together.

Location:

Projects located across Torbay, Newton Abbot, Paignton, Totnes, Kingsbridge and surrounding areas. All sites are within approximately two hours of the depot. No overnight stays required.

Pay £17.20 per hour PAYE. Other PAYE models available.

• Install windows and doors on new‑build residential developments.
• Fit and finish installations to a high standard, ensuring correct alignment, sealing and operation.
• Take accurate measurements and carry out adjustments where required.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with your fitting partner and other trades on site.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe working areas.
• Complete installation records and report any issues or defects promptly.

• Previous experience fitting windows and doors within residential or construction environments.
• Experience installing casement windows, vertical sliding windows, bi‑fold doors, sliding patio doors, French doors, sidelights and composite entrance doors.
• Background in glazing, fenestration installation, carpentry, joinery or a similar trade.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a two‑person installation team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ in Fenestration Installation or a related qualification.
• Local work across South Devon, all sites within a two‑hour radius of the depot.
