Rapier Employment seeks an HGV Technician for ongoing work with a local authority in Nottingham. This full-time, temporary role involves servicing and repairing HGVs and other Council vehicles.
Responsibilities- Diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults
- Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections and safety checks
- Carrying out welding, fabrication, and body repairs
- Responding to breakdowns and accident‑damaged vehicles
- Maintaining accurate records and high workshop standards
- Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent) qualification
- Full Class 2 driving licence
- DVSA Inspecting and Testing qualification
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. Salary £18.85 to £20.00 per hour, dependent on experience (DOE). Pay is subject to PAYE.
