Diagnostic Technician Vacancy in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire!

Our client, a reputable main dealership in Nottingham, is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join their service team. This is a prime opportunity for a skilled vehicle technician looking to enhance their career within a manufacturer-backed environment, working with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and receiving comprehensive manufacturer training, including Hybrid and EV accreditation.

£39,000 basic salary with an OTE of £47,000

Duties:

Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical and electrical faults
Carry out advanced diagnostic, warranty, and repair work to manufacturer standards
Complete Hybrid and EV repairs where qualified
Utilise the latest diagnostic equipment and manufacturer software
Perform hydraulic and electrical repairs safely and efficiently
Support and mentor Apprentice Technicians where required
Ensure all work is completed accurately while maintaining high productivity and quality standards
Comply with manufacturer and health & safety regulations
Maintain high standards of customer service and workshop efficiency

Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
Recognised Diagnostic Technician qualification
Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or manufacturer-trained Vehicle Technician
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Proactive team player with a willingness to support colleagues
