Pay Rate: £18.70 per hour PAYE / £24.10 per hour Umbrella
Contract:
Temporary Agency Assignment - 3 Months

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a leading property services team covering Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire on a 3-month temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with experience in building maintenance, repairs and refurbishment works within occupied and void properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, right-first-time repairs while maintaining excellent customer service and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out a wide range of building repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works to residential properties.
Complete both internal and external repairs to occupied and void homes.
Undertake pre-start risk assessments and work safely at all times.
Receive, plan and complete works within agreed timescales.
Liaise effectively with colleagues, customers and supervisors.
Maintain company vehicles, tools and stock.
Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic job records accurately and on time.
Ensure properties are left safe, secure and clean upon completion of works.
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade.
Full UK manual driving licence.
Experience carrying out multi-skilled building repairs and maintenance.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to undertake a Standard DBS check.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in one or more of the following:
Brickwork and pointing
Plastering and patch plastering
Studwork and dry lining
Joinery (1st and 2nd fix)
Fencing
Wall and floor tiling
Structural repairs
Groundworks and drainage
Roofing repairs
Window installation and repairs
Decoration and mould treatment works
Additional qualifications such as PASMA, Asbestos Awareness, Abrasive Wheel Training or experience within Social Housing would be advantageous.
