An established and growing commercial vehicle dealership is looking for an experienced LCV Technician to join its professional workshop team in Nottingham.
The business provides servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of commercial vehicles and is committed to delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LCV Technician / Van Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a long-term career within a professional and supportive environment.

Working Hours
1:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday
40 hours per week, including a 30-minute paid break.
This is a dedicated late-shift position, making it ideal for an LCV Technician who prefers afternoon and evening working.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Carry out routine inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on LCVs.

· Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.

· Carry out a wide range of defect repairs.

· Complete preventative maintenance and servicing to manufacturer and industry standards.

· Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and carry out repairs efficiently.

· Complete job cards, service sheets and digital documentation accurately.

· Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

· Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

· Work as part of a professional team to ensure vehicles are maintained and returned to customers efficiently.

The Successful LCV Technician
We're looking for an experienced and reliable LCV Technician with:

· Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle / LCV Maintenance and Repair.

· Previous experience working as an LCV Technician, Van Technician, Vehicle Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.

· Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.

· Good understanding of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.

· A proactive and professional approach to work.

· Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Level 3 is preferred, but candidates with strong relevant experience and a Level 2 qualification will also be considered.
