LCV Technician - Nottingham About the Company
An established and growing commercial vehicle dealership is looking for an experienced LCV Technician to join its professional workshop team in Nottingham. The business provides servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of commercial vehicles and is committed to delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LCV Technician / Van Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a long-term career within a professional and supportive environment.
Working Hours1:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday
40 hours per week, including a 30-minute paid break.
This is a dedicated late-shift position, making it ideal for an LCV Technician who prefers afternoon and evening working.
- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on LCVs.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carry out a wide range of defect repairs.
- Complete preventative maintenance and servicing to manufacturer and industry standards.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Complete job cards, service sheets and digital documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
- Work as part of a professional team to ensure vehicles are maintained and returned to customers efficiently.
We're looking for an experienced and reliable LCV Technician with:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle / LCV Maintenance and Repair.
- Previous experience working as an LCV Technician, Van Technician, Vehicle Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
- Good understanding of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- A proactive and professional approach to work.
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Level 3 is preferred, but candidates with strong relevant experience and a Level 2 qualification will also be considered.
