Company Description
Charles Wilson Plant Hire has been a trusted provider of plant and tool hire across the UK since 1979, growing from a single depot in Harpenden to a nationwide network. The company supports local trades, major contractors, and the film and events industries with a wide range of equipment including telehandlers, excavators, access platforms, and generators from leading manufacturers. Specialist divisions such as CW Instant Power, CW Event Hire, and CW Film & Media deliver tailored solutions for sector-specific needs.
The business remains privately owned, with a strong focus on safety, responsive service, and a practical, "can-do" approach that has earned long-term customer loyalty.
