Fire Stopper

Hours Full Time/Permanent - 40 hours (8am - 5pm, Monday Friday) Location Midlands/North (in person) About Global HSE Group Global HSE Group are industry leaders in comprehensive fire safety, specialising in passive fire protection and technical fire consultancy, as well as delivering sustainability and MEP building services, and our own accredited training academy. Role Overview We are looking for fire stoppers with at least 2 years proven experience to join our growing team across the Midlands and North of England. They should have a strong understanding of PFP (Passive Fire Protection) standards. Willing to travel and stay away from home as required Global HSE offers diverse job opportunities across various locations. The role includes a company phone , company vehicle and fuel card.

Requirements Full UK driving licence Willing to be DBS checked NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (or equivalent) 2 years experience in Passive Fire Protection Competent in operating phone software to log and record works SSSTS (desirable) CSCS (desirable)

Key Responsibilities Conduct fire-stopping installations and remedial works in accordance with manufacturer guidance, BM TRADA/FIRAS/IFC certification, and relevant fire safety regulations Have a keen eye to identify and correctly treat penetrations, gaps, and service interfaces requiring fire-stopping Install fire-resistant materials, including sealants, sprays, and boards, to the required specification Complete works to a high standard, ensuring installations provide the required level of fire and smoke resistance Use mobile reporting software to record completed works, photographs, and installation details Maintain good housekeeping and comply with site health and safety requirements Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion Global is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
