Industrial Electrician
North West
£25.00 - £30.00 per hour Door-to-Door Pay Van & Fuel Card Provided
We are recruiting for two Industrial Electricians to work on a long-term Environment Agency framework across the North West.
The role is focused on carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), electrical testing and inspection, and reactive maintenance on Environment Agency water sector assets, including pumping stations, flood risk management systems and associated MEICA equipment.
This is a mobile role covering multiple sites throughout the region, working as part of an established maintenance team responsible for keeping critical infrastructure operational and compliant.
Duties will include:- Planned preventative electrical maintenance on Environment Agency assets
- EICRs, inspection, testing and certification
- Fault finding and reactive repairs
- Maintenance of pumps, motors, MCCs, control panels and associated equipment
- Electrical installations and upgrades
- Isolation and safe working procedures
- Completion of maintenance records and certification
- Supporting emergency breakdowns and call-outs when required
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition
- C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Water industry, utilities or MEICA experience
- Experience working on pumping stations
- ECS/JIB Gold Card
- Strong fault-finding skills
- £25.00 - £30.00 per hour
- Door-to-door pay
