About Our Client  Our client is a fast-growing Nottingham-based heating and air conditioning specialist, working across domestic installations, repairs and bespoke heating systems for councils and homeowners alike.
The business is scaling quickly and is looking for an ambitious and experienced individual who wants to grow alongside the company and play an important role in the development of its installation team.

The Role  Our client is looking for a self-starting and experienced  HVAC Installer  to lead domestic installation work across air conditioning and bespoke heating systems.
You will work independently on site, taking ownership of your installations from start to finish, with lesser-skilled labour provided to assist you where required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is technically strong, confident working independently and has ambitions to progress. As the business continues to grow, there is genuine scope for the successful candidate to build, mentor and eventually lead their own team of installers.
What You'll Be Doing   Installing domestic air conditioning systems to a high standard.
Installing bespoke domestic heating systems.
Carrying out electrical wiring associated with HVAC and heating installations.
Commissioning air conditioning and heating units and ensuring systems are operating correctly.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues encountered during installations.
Taking responsibility for the quality and standard of your completed work.
Directing on-site assistants and labour to ensure installations are completed efficiently.
Managing your own day-to-day workload and working independently across customer sites.
Managing van stock, tools and materials required for upcoming installations.
Ensuring work is completed safely and professionally at all times.
Representing our client professionally and knowledgeably within customers' homes.
Communicating clearly and professionally with homeowners and customers.
Identifying potential additional work opportunities while attending customer sites.
Feeding additional opportunities and customer requirements back to the office.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and professionalism on site.
Ensuring installations are completed in line with relevant regulations, procedures and manufacturer requirements.
Supporting and mentoring junior installers as the team continues to grow.
Eventually taking responsibility for managing and developing junior members of the installation team.
What We're Looking For   Proven experience installing domestic air conditioning systems.
Experience working with domestic heating systems.
F-Gas qualification  essential.
Confident and competent electrically wiring and commissioning HVAC units.
Strong technical knowledge and practical problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Experience directing assistants or lesser-skilled labour on site would be advantageous.
Own tools.
A full UK driving licence.
A pleasant, professional and customer-focused manner.
Excellent communication skills, as you will be representing our client in customers' homes.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule.
Confidence making decisions and solving problems on site.
Ambition and leadership potential, with a desire to eventually manage a team.

The Ideal Candidate  The ideal candidate will be an experienced HVAC or Air Conditioning Installer who enjoys taking ownership of their work and working independently.
You will be comfortable managing installations from start to finish, directing assistants where required and ensuring every job is completed to a high technical and professional standard.
Most importantly, our client is looking for someone with ambition.

This role offers genuine progression, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a  Team Leader or Supervisory position  as the installation division expands.
