Tax Manager Opportunity San Rafael, CA Area

• Oversee diverse tax and accounting engagements, managing complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Review work prepared by others, providing actionable feedback to ensure quality deliverables.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff to foster professional growth.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand services.
• Conduct complex tax research and ensure compliance with GAAP and auditing standards.

• Bachelors degree in accounting, tax, or related field; valid CPA license required (EA not accepted).
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Lacerte/Pro Systems FX) and Excel; strong tax law knowledge.
• Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; background check required.
• Base salary: $125K-$135K annually.
• Additional bonuses: $10K-$13K (FIP Program) and $8K-$10K (PMP Program), prorated first year.
