This position is full-time and requires a minimum of two days per week onsite at MCF's Novato office.

PositionPurpose
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Community Impact Officer (CCIO) and Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) at Marin Community Foundation (MCF). This role is critical to ensuring effective time management, seamless cross-functional collaboration, and strong internal and external communications.
The Executive Assistant serves as a key liaison across teams, executive offices, and external stakeholders, while also supporting communications efforts—including coordination with MCF’s Communications Team to outreach to key MCF audiences.
Reports toThe Executive Assistant reports jointly to the Chief Community Impact Officer and the Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Essential Functions Executive & Administrative Support- Perform a full range of administrative duties for the CCIO and CPO including but not limited to managing schedules, calendars, travel, and preparation of expense reports
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and convenings, including preparation of agendas, materials, and follow-up action tracking
- Partner closely with other colleagues to ensure alignment, coordination of executive schedules, and seamless organizational operations
- Conduct research and a variety of special projects for the CCIO and CPO
- Assist in the preparation, assembly, and distribution of the monthly board dockets in coordination with the Office of the President
- Support project coordination across teams, ensuring follow-through and accountability
- Ensure timely dissemination of key messages and materials across relevant audiences
- In partnership with MCF’s Communications Team, provide logistical and administrative support for communications campaigns and initiatives
- Serve as a responsive, customer service-oriented point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across the organization and with external partners
Preferred Experience
- B.A./B.S. with three or more years of applicable work experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience supporting multiple senior executives in a nonprofit, foundation, or mission-driven environment
- Familiarity with donor relations, community engagement, or philanthropy operations
- Experience working with communications teams, including supporting digital content initiative
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness
- Highly organized and resourceful
- Strong planning, prioritization, and follow-through
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Commitment to equity, collaboration, and community impact
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content coordination, preferred
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with generous health benefits (including medical, vision and dental), 403(b) retirement plan with an employer contribution of 12% (after six months of service), life and disability insurance, and generous time off and other benefits.
Salary Range: $102,000-$110,000 per year
