Clerical, Data Entry, Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support for medical records and document requests.
What You’ll Do- Update systems with medical records information.
- Prepare letters, applications, and requests for medical records and death certificates.
- Request Social Security, union, and other records.
- Follow up with facilities to obtain records and resolve requests.
- Process medical and billing records upon receipt.
- Process invoices for payment.
- Review records to identify dates of medical visits.
- Perform data entry, filing, copying, faxing, electronic service, and other clerical duties.
- Provide backup support to the team and assist with additional tasks as needed.
- 1+ year of office experience and/or legal experience required.
- Some college preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work while meeting deadlines.
- Professional, positive, and organized approach.
- Accurate typing speed of 30–40 WPM.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat, Word Perfect, and databases preferred.
- 1+ year of office experience and/or legal experience required.
