Immediate opening for a Linux System and Database Administrator to join a growing online retailer that designs, manufactures and sells affordable products directly to consumers. They have a global team so this individual will work with teams in the US market and China to install, configure, upgrade, and maintain both on-premise and cloud-based databases, ensuring performance, and data consistency. This is a full‑time opportunity, working a hybrid schedule.

• Install, configure, and upgrade database servers and applications for both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Create and manage Linux OS configurations, users, groups, and permissions.
• Automate system tasks using scripting for improved efficiency.
• Design and implement scalable, high‑availability solutions with automated failover and load balancing.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate database changes into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document configurations, processes, and disaster recovery protocols for transparency and operational continuity.

• 5+ years experience in database administration
• 3+ years Linux Sys Admin and has built their own environment
