Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced OR RN responsible for providing specialized perioperative patient care during surgical procedures. This role requires proficient knowledge of orthopedic surgeries, including total hip, total knee, and spine procedures, with the ability to adapt to on-call requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist during orthopedic surgeries, ensuring patient safety and procedure efficiency.
• Monitor patient vital signs and maintain sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical team to prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is available.
• Document clinical procedures, patient responses, and surgical details accurately.
• Respond promptly to intraoperative issues, providing essential support to the surgical team.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license with current Nursys verification within the last two weeks.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC with current expiration dates.
• Two or more years of recent orthopedic circulator experience, including total hip, knee, and spine procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical patient care, sterile techniques, and intraoperative monitoring.
• Capable of working 3x12 day shifts with on-call nights and weekends as needed.
• Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
