RN Nurse, Surgical Assistant, Operating Room Nurse
Registered Nurse Operating Room
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The position requires two years of experience as an Orthopedic Circulator, specifically with total hip and total knee procedures. Experience in spine surgery is a plus. The nurse will work day shifts of three 12-hour rotations, from 06:45 to 19:15. On-call availability for nights and weekends may be necessary, though it is rare.
Candidates must possess a current California RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS. The role involves various surgical procedures, and proficiency in related skills is essential. The nursing unit collaborates with interdisciplinary support services, enhancing patient care. Strong adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and effective communication with the surgical team is vital. Candidates will be expected to provide exceptional patient care and maintain a compassionate environment for patients undergoing surgery.
