American Traveler is seeking a Medical Surgical RN with a current CA license and at least 2 years of experience for a day-shift assignment.

• Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Variable days with every other weekend required
• No on‑call responsibilities
• Floating required as needed

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Certifications must be issued by AHA or ARC
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks
• Two professional references obtained within the past year required

• Local candidates accepted at the local rate
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius for consideration
• No separation time required for former employees to return as travelers
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
• Only one holiday may be requested off per contract
• Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
• All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start
