About the roleThis position supports the day‑to‑day operations of the firm across client service, billing, and workflow coordination, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both clients and internal teams.
- Client Communication &
Experience:
Be a friendly, knowledgeable point of contact for clients on payments, client portal, and electronic signature questions. - Billing & Accounts Receivable: Prepare and deliver client invoices, monitor AR, and proactively follow up on outstanding balances - you'll partner with our professionals to keep the billing and collections process structured and moving.
- E‑filing Support: Help track filing deadlines and ensure timely e‑filling of returns and extensions.
- Process Administration & Workflow: Process electronic and paper tax returns and filings with a high degree of accuracy. Maintain organized digital records and project management workflow in systems.
- Technology & Office Efficiency: Support internal teams by becoming a resource for software tools. Assist in implementing process improvements, best practices, and new systems to support efficiencies within the firm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you provide a positive experience for clients and coworkers.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management abilities; you can juggle deadlines without dropping them.
- A proactive mindset - you spot issues before they become a problem.
- Problem‑solving instincts and adaptability when the day doesn’t go as planned.
- Prior administrative experience at a public accounting firm is a plus, but not required. We will provide thorough training for people who are eager to learn.
- Familiarity with Ultra Tax, Safe Send, Asana, or accounting practice management software is a plus.
- Salary: $50,000 - $65,000, depending on experience.
