- Advise internal clients and review and interpret legal issues in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Prepares, interprets and reviews quotes, agreements, contracts, pleadings, documents and correspondence
- Provides legal support and recommends optimal (and practical) course of action when disputes arise
- Provides proactive support to avoid problems. Focus on strategic initiatives to efficiently manage risk
- Manages outside legal counsel and monitors, supervises, and evaluates their representation of Yanfeng, both in terms of their expertise and cost.
- Proposes, develops and monitors preventive law and compliance programs to reduce company exposure to legal risks
- Keeps current of trends and changes in the law and regulations relevant to the automotive industry
- Commercial, Contracts, Corporate, M&A, Dispute Resolution and ideally also Real Estate experience
- Emphasis on commercial work and support of Procurement Department and Customer Business Units
- Train the functional teams to be proficient in key terms and contract law.
- Develop templates, self-help tools, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support corporate governance and entity management.
- Help develop GenAI applicability for repetitive, low-risk support
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of broad based commercial and corporate law experience in a law firm and/or multinational company
- Fluency in English language
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to work independently
Education:
Superior academic achievement and must be admitted to practice law in at least one State

- Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
- Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).
