Position Summary:
Sales Account Manager for Nissan USA and Nissan Mexico account, managing existing projects and new business opportunities.
Essential Functions (Accountable for the following end results):- 1.) Internal lead of all commercial topics within the organization, for the customer(s) assigned.
- 2.) Initiate, track, and close internal cost studies in preparation to review proposals with management in support of customer quotes.
- 3.) Communicate customer timing and manage customer/internal change requests. Effectively communicates project expectations to all team members including key management.
- 4.) Attend internal and external Cross Functional Team (CFT) and sales meetings relating to your customers and provide reports and actionable items to the organization.
- 5.) Lead (commercial) open issue resolution meetings with assigned customer(s), and ensure timely closure of commercial topics, via virtual and/or in-person meetings.
- 6.) Prepare quotations (pricing and tooling) for the customer on time. Understand customer specification and expectations and be the internal "voice-of-customer." Track all tooling quotations, amortizations, cost breakdown activities and milestones.
- 7.) Prepare service parts quotations and analyze minimum order quantities, packaging specs, service volume, and duration requirements.
- 8.) Lead on focused recovery items (lump sum, RMI, economics, Tariff, etc.)
- 9.) Update annual sales forecast and provide customer volumes for annual budgets. Prepare monthly sales reports that analyze budget, sales, and forecast variances as requested.
- 10.) Assist/lead in recovery of overdue invoices, tooling payments, one-time lump sum recoveries, and pricing discrepancies.
- 11.) Lead or assist in customer request/survey (USMCA, COO, etc.) until closure.
- 12.) Maintain and project a positive attitude.
- 13.) Consistent and regular attendance.
- 14.) Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (Mexico, specifically) and attend occasional evening review meetings.
- 15.) Perform other duties as assigned.
Solid understanding of Nissan USA and Nissan Mexico with experience with their commercial documents (PDCT, SQ, F1, RFQ, etc.) and portals (GTOP, , etc.)
AS or BS in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Technical field
3-5 years previous experience with Nissan USA and/or Mexico
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal)
MS Word/Excel/Power Point
Experience in a fast-paced office/manufacturing environment
Must have a minimum of 3 years Nissan Experience.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S
Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Health and Safety:Requires the ability to sit, stand, or remain stationary for prolonged periods of time, move about short distances inside an office and plant setting to access file cabinets, office machinery, and conduct work on computer.
Occasionally lift items up to 20 pounds.
Position entitles some travel. Valid Driver’s License and ability to operate a motor vehicle required.
