** Pediatric Dental Assistant
** to join our growing team.  Responsible for general clinic administrative work and maintenance, as well as completing lab work under the direction of a Dentist.  
** How you’ll make us better:
*** Prepares the examination room for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the Dentist
* Assists the Dentist during their procedure by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment
* Greets patients as they arrive
* Updates and maintains the patients dental records
* Takes and processes x-rays of patients
* Schedules patient appointments
* Takes billing and insurance details from patients
* Advises patients on recommended oral hygiene
* Assists Pediatric Dental Hygienist as needed
* Obtains consent from parents

** Prerequisites for success:
*** High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Some dental industry experience preferred
* Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board
* Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board
* CPR certification if required by state Dental Board
