Job Summary

Drives product design, development, and plant support to launch products effectively and efficiently, as well as grow technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand internal and external customer design requirements.
• Launch product.
• Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process.
• Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables.
• Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM cost targets.
• Communicate effectively both internally and externally.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods for issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent degree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.)
• 4+ years of experience in automotive interiors.
• Experience in seating components like structure, headrest and armrest preferred.
• Global program experience preferred.
• Position requires travel, including overnight travel.
