Engineer Diver

Job Description

We are looking for qualified individuals to join our Michigan-based underwater inspection team. This role will provide the opportunity to directly be involved with underwater structural assessments on projects throughout the United States.

• Perform and assist with surface supplied diving operations.
• Execute each project ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with legal requirements such as ADCI regulations, USACE provisions, and state and federal laws.
• Ensure the safety of all divers and equipment, participate in safety briefings, and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of diving operations.

• BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid driver’s license
• Must successfully pass a drug & alcohol test
• ACDE Dive School Diploma or Military Diving Diploma
• ADCI Entry Level Diver/Tender (or ability to obtain with Military Experience)

• BS in Civil Engineering
• FHWA-NHI-130055 or 130056 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges Certification
• FHWA-NHI-130091 Underwater Bridge Inspection
• ADCI Air Diver or ADCI Air Diving Supervisor
• TWIC Card
