We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer PE to join our team and take on challenging site development and redevelopment projects. In this role you will lead the design and coordination of large‑scale multi‑family residential, retail, corporate and industrial projects, and will be responsible for driving technical excellence across the project lifecycle.
Role accountabilities- Collaborate with internal, external and stakeholder teams to complete construction documents for site development, water resources and other civil projects.
- Serve as a technical resource, providing guidance and insight on technical processes and solutions.
- Represent Arcadis to external teams and stakeholders, building and maintaining robust, positive relationships through effective communication.
- Organize project structure and processes, including staff planning, quality controls, design oversight and project budgeting.
- Prepare construction documents, calculations and reports for public or private clients as required.
- Ensure quality controls and professional standards are met, and provide training, mentoring and supervision of team members when necessary.
- Motivate team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Manage the budget for large projects or tasks.
- Michigan‑licensed PE Civil Engineer with at least 6 years of experience in land or site development projects.
- Experience in the civil/land development sector, including single‑site and municipal‑type projects, and development of construction documents for public sector clients.
- Strong consulting, project management and client relationship management skills at the senior level.
- Proven experience leading civil engineering teams and building a cohesive project culture.
- Ability to develop project plans that address intricate civil engineering challenges, meet stakeholder expectations and maintain budgetary constraints.
- Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and micro
Station (considered an asset).
