apanese Chemical Manufacturer is looking for a Technical Operations Specialist for their Auto Film business.
Technical Operations Specialist Industry: Auto Film business in Chemicals
Location:
Novi, MI (Hybrid) Salary: DOE (up to 100k range) Duties
- Serve as a technical liaison between customers, suppliers, and Japan HQ to prevent manufacturing issues.
- Review and improve processing conditions for decorative film products with customers.
- Provide technical guidance on processes, equipment, and tools to new customers.
- Develop marketing strategies by understanding industry trends and networking with stakeholders.
- Visit manufacturing sites to investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Promote other products to the automotive industry.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in similar technical/customer-facing roles.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally; own vehicle required.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
- Japanese skill is a plus.
